Turn The Water Off: Instead of letting the faucet run while you brush, turn the water off for most of the time and only use it when you need it.

Use floss instead of a Waterpik to save water

Floss: Nothing beats good old-fashioned flossing for getting the food and plaque stuck in between your teeth- and it requires no water (unlike water flossers such as Waterpik or Air Floss).

Use Waterless Hand Sanitizer: If your hands are not visibly dirty, hand sanitizer is a great alternative to soap and water for killing germs transferred from your mouth to your hands.

Don’t Rinse: After brushing, spit the extra toothpaste out but do not rinse with water. It keeps the fluoride from toothpaste in your mouth and saves water!

Feed Your Plants: If you do use a rinse cup, don’t toss the extra water down he sink! Use it to water your plants instead!
